Hello Awesome Backers:
To date, I have mailed out over 200 packages. Lots more to go, but they are on their way. (A big thank you to the US Postal Service.) If you haven't filled out your survey yet, please do so. If you can't find it, let me know and I'll send you the link.
Many of you know that Comic Cons and other events have moved online. Because of that, I'd be thrilled if you'd join me for my first interview sponsored by Source Point Press. It's tomorrow, Thursday, 4/30, at 4:30 pm (PST)/7:30 pm (EST) on the Source Point Press Facebook Page.
Yes, there will be Free Comic Book Day this year, but online and it's called ALT-FCB. Come join the fun and listen to an amazing group of panelists. I will be doing an AMA on Friday, at 1:00 PM on the Alt-FCB Facebook Group. Did I mention that it is all FREE!

A quick note to let you know that the surveys have been sent out. So, please check your SPAM folders in case they ended up there. Many of the digital rewards have already been fulfilled, and I mailed out my first batch of rewards today.
I have the photos for two of the commissions. If you haven't sent yours in, please do. :)

I've got a few more things to tidy up on Backerkit before I send it in for review. Then comes the "smoke test," but you should see the surveys come through in the next couple of days. Then shipping will begin!

Good News! I heard from my printer late last night that the books have been shipped. No firm ETA yet, but most likely they will arrive early next week. (It appears the warehouse used a skeleton crew to start moving things out earlier.) What that means is that I will organize Backerkit this weekend and get the surveys out to you next week. The bookmarks have also arrive!
In the meantime, if you are a parent looking for kid friendly comics (or want to read something super fun), then I highly suggest checking out Caleb Thusat's, SUPERCATS HALLOWEEN!
If you are looking for something smooth and cool, check out Stephan Franck's, PALOMINO.

I am hoping to get good news next week from the printer about shipping. Cross your fingers. In the meantime, the bookmarks will be arriving next week so that is something. As I mentioned before, once I get a timeline on delivery of the books I will send out the Backerkit surveys.
The big announcement this month is that the trade paperback of Boston Metaphysical Society is now available to pre-order through your local comic book store (#APR202042) if they are still open or directly through Source Point Press. Many of you already have it or are getting it through the New To Boston, Nothing But Books, and All Things BMS tiers, but please pass on the word to those who may not have it and might be interested.
Source Point Press has been a terrific partner to me and they are taking a big hit right now like the rest of us in the indie creator world. So be sure to check out their website as they are offering some discounted bundle packages in horror, scifi, fantasy, and more.
